I've been here twice already and both times were fantastic!! The quality of the chocolate and ice cream is so good!! You get to choose from vanilla or chocolate and three toppings.
There are lots of photo props/ instagram opportunists inside the store as well, if you're looking for that.
Also very affordable, something around 6 euros? -

Went 2 days in a row and they closed early. Doors still unlocked and people inside however would not serve my daughter. Poor hospitality and rude employee.

I was planning to have authentic Italian gelato on my first night in Italy but I stumbled upon the Magnum store on my way to Trevi fountain and had to stop in.
The standard order includes the ice cream bar, the coating, three toppings, and a drizzle. After notifying them of my allergy they were careful to keep my ice cream in a separate area and use a clean cup to mix my toppings.
It's worth going once if you are a fan of Magnum bars since it's a fun experience but gelato is definitely the better choice. -

Least favorite ice cream in Italy. But there was novelty in building my own ice cream bar and making all the wrong choices. I also appreciated the ability to watch other patrons with their decision making dilemmas and to not learn from their mistakes.
There are multiple Magnum offerings in Italy, and they're all basically the same. Go here when you need a clean bathroom. -

Definitely a must try when in Rome. This place is the best and I would go everyday in my life if I lived here. So good and you can customize your entire ice cream.
